Xianglong was a genus of cretaceous lizard. It's home in the cretaceous forests of China would have been a dangerous place for it.
Behaviour And Appearance[]
The most notable feature about Xianglong is its bizarre oversized ribs, eight on each side, which were attached to a membrane of
body tissue and allowed the lizard to glide. Xianglong would use gliding to escape from predators like microraptor and sinornithosaurus or just to move around whilst looking for food. Xianglong would have eaten small insects that it would catch up in the trees.
